(Hopefully Photobucket doesn't kill this thread..)

This is one of the critters that hangs out in our yard. I've been told it's varioud things from a prarie dog (uhm.. no, cause I've seen those and they're bigger and the holds they did are a bit different) to a vole (seriously for the longest time I thought voles were something that Piers Anthony made up) to a ground squirrel.. this thing looks like a chipmunk to me!
It eats pretty much anything.. including dead animals. So.. what is it? :)

Looks like a thirteen striped ground squirrel, but not too sure on that one.

Who me  Did I mention it is related to bigfoot.

I guess it's thirteen lined, not striped.

Just as long as it isn't related to a yeti!

Hrm.. looks very similar, but the stripes on my critter aren't as defined as the stripes on that critter.

It's a chipmunk. No fun and games, that is what it is. It might have got sucked up in that tornado in your flatland area you had last night!

That freaking tornado was less than seven miles from home! I was going to make a sarcastic comment about this not being Kansas.. but I guess it's close enough to Kansas. Ugh. Got some hail and tons of rain though (I'd mention the wind.. but we always have wind). The rain was blowing towards the house, so we found out the front window leaks and the storm door is just for looks because it doesn't keep the storm out. Had Lake Erie in the entry way this morning.

Did ya'll get any of the storm up your way? I noticed Pikes Peak is covered with snow again!

I'll still trade you! Of course, I'll even toss in the humidity for free.

Yuck. You want me to trade the nice weather up here for Texas heat and humidity? I think you've been smoking Cree's peace pipe!
