Actually, it's addictive and way better than televised kareoke. You have to get in from the beginning (like anything) to get hooked. It's that rags to riches draw too. The undiscovered getting their break, a recording contract, millions, publicity, fame, free cars, seeing their proud parents tearing up in the audience, etc. etc.

Yeah.. I've heard the addicting thing. I'd rather be hooked on phonics than hooked on American Idol though. :D

If it was on the same time as Idol, no. I watched the 1st episode of Lost and that was it. Idol was a good show last night even tho Taylor wasn't my pick. Chris shouldda won. In the end they're all winners tho having made it that far.

No, Katherine shouldda won.

Oh yeah. I wonder why you'd believe that.

Well, yeah, that could have something to do with it but you have to admit she has a hell of a voice.

Book or movie?

Hrm.. some questions were answered last night, but a whole lot more took their place! Oi.

The movie. It's one of my favorites. I've seen it several times.

I don't know anything about her singing or the show. I just wanted to quote the picture one more time.

Yeah, because he can sing (although I've never watched the show, I did hear one of his songs the other day).
He reminds me of Michael McDonald of late Doobie Brother fame...

Hey, I forgot to say that I watched Lost this year. I got hooked on it, but haven't watched it regularly (but I managed to catch the 2nd half of the season finale), so hopefully they'll rerun it this summer, so I can figure out what I missed.
