Friend sent this to me.. thought it was pretty funny. :D

Redneck Special Forces

The Pentagon announced today the formation of a new 500-man elite fighting unit called the United States Redneck Special Forces. These Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Texas boys will be dropped off into Iraq and have been given only the following facts about terrorists:
1. The season opened today.
2. There is no limit.
3. They taste just like chicken.
4. They don't like beer, pickups, country music or Jesus.
5. They are DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for the death of Dale Earnhardt.
6. Their favorite movie is "BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN."

They expect the problem in Iraq to be over by Friday

I knew it'd be appreciated.

Beer and shotgun.. almost sounds like a rock n' roll band.

Don't know if that's a band or not, but I've heard the two words put together in more than one song.

Maybe you're not redneck afterall.

Shotguns aren't my favorite thing, but they can make for some fun practical jokes. :D

You know that a chick who's never held a shotgun before can make a whole room of swat guys almost wet their pants in terror when coached by arson guys on how to not hold a shotgun and stuff. It wasn't loaded! :D

You would've thought they'd learn after the pratical joke me and one of the guys played, he handed me his gun (not loaded of course) and I kind of held it on the palm of my hand and made gestures and asked the guys what to do with it.. the look on everyones faces was priceless.

Lots of interesting gun stories from those days. :D I learned never to drive one of their county vehicles though, because guns slide out from under the seat or if you open the center console you'll find a gun.

I like to shoot some clay pigeons with people from time to time, and my favorite is slipping a 3 1/2" turkey or goose load into my gun before someone shoots it. :D They usually notice a little more kick when they shoot that one.

I used to like to let folks shoot my muzzleloader. It is a flintlock as at the time that was the only type allowed in the special season. It takes everyone by surprise when the pan flashes in their face and the gun fires a second or two later which means they have flinched and generally missed the target by a mile. You have to respect those folks who used a flintlock system to survive.

Years ago while at the range at Cherry Point, NC,a brand spankin new Lt JG wanted to fire my Barret .50 SO damned bad, that I finally caved in. I was in the process of removing the muzzle brake whne my Sgt. caught me and advised me not to do that.  I thought that it'd be funny as hell, and teach him not to mess with another Marines rifle.

OHHHHH I want one of those soooooooo bad but I cannot justify the price tag though. I don't think I would even mind the single shot version, but they are still 4-5K a pop with no extras.

A buddy of mine (retired ATF agent) has one that I play with from time to time. The only problem is he only has 400m to shoot on!!!! That's kinda like driving a Ferari throough a Walmart parking lot....just doesn't do it justice.
