I'm procrastinating because I don't want to go look something up on Westlaw..

Lets be nosey about where we all live..

What is the elevation?
What is the population?
What are five tourist spots?
What is the weather currently like?
What has the weather been like the last week?
How much is a gallon of gas?
Is where you live more country or city?

Five Tourist Spots: In Springtown? Uh, go to Fort Worth for tourist spots. They've got plenty.
Weather: HOT, which is slightly better than it was the last few days.
Last weeks weather: REAL HOT, which ain't too bad. At least it only got to about 100.
Gas: It came down from an arm and a leg to just an arm. I think it was about $2.80 last night.
Country or city: Country, although the city is catching up with us.

Lets be nosey about where we all live..

What is the elevation? (8,875', Peyton is 5,900 not 6,900, I believe and is a suburb of Co. Spgs., flatlands where you can see your neighbor and hear dogs miles away)
What is the population? (In Co. Mtn. Estates around 500)
What are five tourist spots? (11 Mile Canyon and Reservoir, Cripple Creek/Victor, Florissant Fossil Beds N.M., Mueller State Park, the Crags/Pike's Peak/Gold Camp Rd.)
What is the weather currently like? (10 AM, thunder, cloudy, light rain we need, 54*F, then 1/2" rain/sleet, then two days of around 80 and mostly sunny in the "Banana Belt" of the Rockies)
What has the weather been like the last week? (sunny, 75 to 80*F, windy sometimes, dry)
How much is a gallon of gas? (271.9 in Divide)
Is where you live more country or city? (country but getting more city all the time with Co Spgs. 36 miles away and people escaping what only >>11 years ago was a small city >>without Mexicans,<< and everything east of Murray Rd., N. of Woodman Rd., S. of the airport, and W. of Wdld. Pk. and the lower Rampart foothills was >>>necessary farms, ranches, and wild lands<<<<) I'll go down in Civil War Two emptying my guns into the hordes of invaders, in not too many years with all the felonious aiders, abettors, employers, and encouragers, especially in that rat hole Denver. Liberal commies and greedy corporate sellout RINOs. Even 5 friggin' mosques in Denver!!! They weren't there in the 60s!!!
Overpopulation is killing the future.    it sucks

Err. Falcon is 6,900 feet (according to websites and the t-shirts at Merricherios (think I spelled it right.. I'll find out when I have dinner there tonight). I put Peyton as my city because since the Falcon post office burned down (how many ever years ago!) we've technically have become part of Peyton.

Divide! My cousin lives out there. :) Very pretty place.

What is the elevation?

Not as high as yours.

What is the population?

Closest town is 1300 people.

What are five tourist spots?

In a town of 1300 people you don't have 5 spots.

What is the weather currently like?

Hot and humid, 90s with thunderstorms likely tonight.

What has the weather been like the last week?

Last weekend cool, but otherwise hot and windy.

How much is a gallon of gas?

$2.72

Is where you live more country or city?

Country. I'm about 45 minutes from the bigger city with just over 500,000 people.

Needs it here.. lots of fires all over the state.

You need rain? Have someone stand on your roof and pour a watering can over your head. :D

Well it's cloudy and local radar looks good, but we'll have to wait a while and see. Now if we can only get rain and not the 70 to 80 mph winds. Last time we had storms like that my 60 foot long open sided barn turned into a 40 foot long barn. You know it's bad when you look out during a storm and see your tractor sitting outside, and you know it was in the barn when the storm started.
