A country club...that explains a bunch...I paid $10 for a freaking beer yesterday at one of the local CC's while playing golf. Not sure I'll go back.

I paid $15 for a beer in Carlsbad, CA once.. and I wasn't even at a country club! :D

That and the whole dress code thing really turned me off to the place. I had to run to Walmart and buy a polo shirt, since my FD t shirt wouldn't be allowed on the course. I told the guy in the shop if I was asked to removed my Stl cardinals hat, that I'd deposit my 9 iron where the sun didn't shine.

Dress codes suck... but then again, golfing isn't that much fun either. :D

I've paid $30 for a six pack at a Ranger game. After that, I said screw it. I went to the Cuervo club and got some Crown. Still wasn't cheap, but I got a better bang for the buck. :D

Beer at ballparks doesn't taste as good as midori on the beach. :D

Melon flavored? I'd try it, but I can't promise I'd like it.

Yeah, I know.

The proper use of Midori is to add it to the Margarita and make a Green Iguana ..... ummmmmmmmmmm .... that way you can either salt OR sugar the rim .....

The worst price I ever remember was $15.00 for a SMALL PB&J sandwich at a hotel. I think it was in Pittsburgh, but I will not swear to it. The Ruth's Chris Steakhouse near the PPG towers got me for $300.00 a few years back for a dinner for 4, maybe 5. The worst drink tab was at Tahoe where we topped $1000.00 for 4 of us (not counting the waitress who got a couple of drinks from us too ... maybe more from the single guy but that was after the rest of us went to crash)

I ate at Del Frisco's once. I didn't pick up the tab, but I probably racked up a good hundred bucks pretty easy myself. Between the 30 of us or so, my supervisor probably spent at least a few thousand.

Sounds interesting. I prefer a melon ball or a midori sour though. :D

Hmm.. now I know why the Midori bottle I bought is iguana shaped. :D

Oi. I refuse to eat at places that charge way too much for food that I could make at home that would taste better and be the way I like it.
