So I'm going on a business trip to Nashville next week and have some extra time. I'm not much of a country music fan. Anyone have any good ideas of things that I should do?

Don't know much about Nashville, but Tennessee is beautiful. Should be lots of good scenery.

Not a country music fan? Don't announce that too loudly there. :D

What about touring some of the old homes? I always like looking around old homes. :D

They have an agricultural (oi.. I hate spelling that word) museum too.

Likes trees?
Scarritt-Bennett Nature Walk
1008 19th Avenue South
Nashville, TN 37212
(615) 320-4600

Walk the ten tree-filled acres of Scarritt-Bennett campus, enjoying the 75-year-old gothic buildings, multi-language peace pole and the demonstration Organic Garden. Also, take a self-guided tour of the Arboretum and learn to identify 26 species of trees.

Oooh.. here's a Botanical Garden/Art Museum

Hrm.. there's a Sports Hall of Fame there too.

there are lots of blues opportunities there! if you like good blues...you can find it in nashville. i was worried about the same thing when i had to go there for business the first time. i forgot the names of the places i went to to catch shows...(thats a good sign you know)...

and you gotta go to the opryland hotel and just walk through the courtyard area in the center if you go at 9 pm...they have a huge light and fountain show...its pretty cool.

If you're into paranormal activity I know of some good spots to check out over that way.
