That's what I miss about San Diego.. who cares about a fireworks ban when you can watch the Sheriff's Dept. blow up tons and tons of confiscated fireworks in a display to promote fireworks safety.

See no adverse reactions to the few animals? It's a known fact many animals are scared out of their minds during this time. Maybe you should take a poll and get back to me since you seem to be clueless. Or maybe your animals are deaf. Last night some idiot set off an M80 in the neighborhood. What a lovely sound that was! Hope their eardrums are still ringing. IDIOTS. July 5th we'll read about all the fingers and hands blown off. MORE IDIOTS.

I don't deal in m-80's..I help shoot and organize a $50,000 display.Please post some data to back up your claims. Our shooting area is around 1 mile from a large farm,I'll be sure to have someone watch the cattles' reaction during our shoot.

But then again animals are also scared of traffic,guns,airplanes,motorcycles,ATV,helicopters,people...maybe your Highness doesn't like those things either?

Well Mr. PRINCE, you asked for support to my claim, which I promptly provided, now you're backpeddaling and wish to read something more scientific as 8,640,000 articles aren't good enuf. Look it up yourself. or you can go put out some oven fires or something.

ironic how grace never stted her plans for the fourth...just came in to bitch about firworks...lol

as for me....no firm plans..maybe a bit of waterskiing, tubing, etc....possibly some bbq.....and yes.....fireworks.

Mrm. I heard something about a ban. I heard they were going to do something at some country club in Cheyenne Meadows. I'd go, but I hate those roundabouts in that area. Haven't been up that way much either except to go to the zoo twice.

I wonder if they're doing anything on Pikes Peak.. they had a decent display on New Years that we could seem from our place.
