This one is for you Grace..

There is this stray cat that likes to hang around in front of my place... I've taken to putting food out for it, I didn't go to the store yet this week and I ran out of cat food. Of course this cat is sitting at my door waiting for me to feed it (being very vocal about it!) and I'm trying to figure out what I have that this cat will eat. Hrm. So I cut up a garden burger and put it on the cat's plate (hey man.. I wasn't running to the store for me let alone a cat that isn't mine!) so this cat sniffs the burger and it's raises it's fur and starts hissing and making godawful growling sounds at it! I knew cats could be picky but dang.. I didn't know they were that opinionated about food! Cat (I should name it huh?) didn't appreciate veggie burgers but it did enjoy spaghetti.

Just thought of another one.

When my son was learning to stand we were trying to get him to cooperate so we could get it on video. We tried everything and he wouldn't stand for the camera. So I jokingly said "If you stand mama will buy you a Porsche when you turn 16".. and wouldn't you know it, a few seconds later he stood. I'm glad he doesn't remember that.
