Heatwaves.. bah! It rained here last night and it's cloudy right now. I want a heatwave darnit.

I'll trade you. Bet you don't go half a day before you want to trade back. All the pastures around here are yellow. I miss the greenery we had in the Spring.

You act like I'm from the North Pole or something. I know humidity and heat very well.. try working in the frigging desert in CA during the summer. :D

I like hot weather... feels good to go outside and feel the sun on your skin.

Then you should know you don't want it. Besides, our weather is hotter and more humid. This is Texas, after all.

I have to admit, lately I've been enjoying stepping outside in the middle of the day and felling that sun beat down on me, even on 100+ days. It feels good....but I don't miss working in it every day.

Mrm. I do prefer the dry heat up here in the Springs, but I miss the CA Desert heat. I loved it.. crazy as it sounds. :D

I miss being able to lay out in the sun and enjoy it's warmth. I don't care what these tanaholics say, tanning salons aren't the same as the sun. Not that I tan well.

I tan well. You've never seen a better farmer's tan.

Been there. It sucks bad. Sometimes it gets so hot during the day here and it just won't cool off til almost dawn. The air will run nearly all night just to keep the house at 80 degrees.

saw on the news how bad the drought situation is in Texas..not sure
if it's in the entire state or southern portions but they showed river beds,
lakes, ponds completely dried up....looked like the droughts you see
in Africa....can't imagine having a severe drought like that then top
it off with this heat...they showed cattle ranchers/farmers with all
their dead animals and shriveled crops...really felt bad for them.

sign of the times I guess and not to optimistic at that.

I think it's pretty much the whole state, except maybe the eastern part...not sure. I know it's bad here in the northern part of the state. I can't remember the last rain we had. Only thing still green is the prickly pear. Everyone is selling off their cattle or leasing more land just for what little water it still has left.

Mrm. I dunno... I've seen some pretty nice farmer's tans in my time. 'Course you could always take a picture of your farmer's tan (in front of your car..) so we could judge. :D

How long have you had your car now? I think you need to cough up more than just a picture of the car. :D
