Archer, you have faith in the Bible, and that is great for you. It is all the argument you really need for your own opinion, but when the discussion is what should be taught to all children in a science class something other than blind faith is needed. The only things that should be taught in a science classroom are those which can be confirmed using scientific methods. In a Sunday school, you can teach whatever you wish, but the same way the Church fought science in the belief the Sun revolved around the Earth, such beliefs are not going to give those taught much of an advantage in the real world of science.

If God could be "proven", then there would be no need for faith. However, I have yet to see anyone disprove him. That says a lot.

Do you believe the first law of thermodynamics? I'm sure you do. Why? Probably because it's never been proven wrong. It can't be proven right 100%, yet you believe.

So, can anyone prove that the Bible is wrong or that God does not exist? If it's all such hogwash and so unbelievable as the truth, surely it isn't hard. Much easier than say...proving that evolution is the truth.
