Thanks Ori. I found out it wasn't our bldg. poisoning them. The county courthouse is across the street and I have a feeling it might be them. I just don't know who to call in that regard. Usually you get some stupid rent a clerk answering the main switchboard. But I'll try "building manager". Probably will get the mayor's office.

I'll never understand what people have against pigeons. :(
More often than not the clerks at the front counter in places like courthouses wouldn't know who to put you in contact with in regards to things like poison. If the county there works anything like the one in San Diego the people putting out the poison won't even work there, but are part of a maintence crew that isn't based out of the building.

Does the county have something like animal control? Perhaps you could call them and ask them to investigate? Otherwise the only other advice I can offer in regards to finding out is to call the courthouse and ask to speak to whomever is responsible for maintence and asking them about poison.

Painting won't do either. My lack of skills would only irritate me, especially since I can't erase paint. Then I would end up with broken equipment (from my anger), then when I broke something, that would really set me off. So I would have to throw things. Then I would feel better. I'm better off just skipping to the throwing part.

Uhh.. depending on the color of your canvas it's called white paint. :D  Trust me, I've used plenty of it covering up mistakes.

I think the droppings creating a heath hazard and the damaging effect of the droppings on property has something to do with it. We ate at an outdoor seating area of a local restaurant yesterday and had to deal with two pigeons sitting on ledges near our table. They had tons of the anti-bird material covering the exposed surfaces but these tow had found chinks in the defenses. I offered to run home to get my pellet gun but the waitress declined so I resorted to throwing thing at them to persuade them to move on.

Probably.. but still not a reason to hate pigeons. :)

They probably had people like me there feeding them and such. :)

Found out the courthouse is definitely not responsible. Still digging.
