I agree - Your Karma will get you.

Winning the lottery was just the set up. The fall is coming.
Now the victims and families will now haunt him like ghosts for compensation, or after living a life on the edge of normal society and never having substantial money, he will squander his windfall within a few short years, even going into debt. As much as he wants to remain alone, people will find him and not leave him alone. He will become more miserable than BEFORE he won the lottery.
