We are all allowed our own opinion despite what some say.
Some spend too much time denigrating those who have animal welfare at heart. They think it is very clever, but it sounds very childish from here.

You see...they'll be picking on me now . It will be your turn soon.

Oh we are entitled to our own opinions but are we entitled to our own facts? When opinion becomes fact we are on slippery ground and can lose credibility really fast.

How about when opinion is contrary to fact? I agree that many things are opinion based as the facts might not always be very clear. In this case should things not be qualified?

When the normative opinion starts to occur then we are in real danger. The normative can be persuasive and sound good but then hole can be punched in it and leak like a sieve. The normative cannot find fact on its own and needs a different approach to find truth.

I do have opinions but I know how fragile opinions can be. I would rather form my opinions around as many facts as I can gather rather then on feeling. When everything becomes knee jerk this is how we lose.

One day I would like to buy up more land and try to help as many dogs as I can. Cats as well and try to find away to provide some services. I would also like to do more than I am doing to help the local environment but I am concerned that people that might be on the same side as myself could discredit all I would like to see happen.
