Okay, wait a second here! I mentioned the tree, but no cat was involved, just a herring!

I think the reason he is so nervous is that his harem contract is coming up for renewal shortly...

No he is a free agent, remember. So that can't be it.

No, but it is in my best interest to stay on your good side.

Remember, you catch more flies with honey then with vinegar. Not to imply that you are a fly.

So you didn't think a cat would show up with a herring laying around. Sounds like a red herring to me.

You would pout because someone wants to stay on your good side? What do you do to people that tick you off? Maybe I don't want to know.

What? Stay on your good side, or tick you off.

Is this another of those deals like the child and the dog, where it's one or the other or both.

You said you were trying to stay on my good side....so that is what I was referring to. I am still stuck on the "not in your best interest" part.

I mean, why even play that game at all? A game where you have to choose between an infant or a dog? I can be honest, I don't value dogs as much as infants. But I reject the premise.

If this is a serious question you'd have to calculate the cc capacity and go from there.
I suspect you know the answer already.

Yeah, any measure of volume would do. I believe one would have to have a better idea of the area over which the rain fell. A whole bunch of meters, say, 1000 spread over an area would do, but the calculated volume would only be good for that particular area.
