Hello there, my name is Irene and I volunteer for a newly created animal rescue organization in the border town of Piedras Negras Mexico. We have a no kill animal shelter that we are working toward expanding.
We created our organization because we have a very big problem with animal overpopulation in our city. The local dog pound is full to capacity every day and every day the animals are electrocuted in a horrible way. The need for an animal protection asociation was very big. We have a long road ahead of us and not very much economic resources, but what we lack in money we make up in enthusiasm.
I look forward to discussing animal topics with you all, I really need a little encouragement from like minded people.
