Probably not, but then as of yet no one has come forward to lay the blame.

If the motion continues, the new spot will encounter the much larger storm system in August. Jupiter's recent outbreak of red spots is likely related to large scale climate change as the gas giant planet is getting warmer near the equator.

The article makes it seem like it's warming up only at the equator. Why only there?

Jupiter's main source of heat is itself; not the sun.

I'm guessing we've taken all our old cars and sent them to the equator of Jupiter, where their emmissions have caused warming.

Or I suppose it's possible China has opened up a couple more coal fired plants there. When you open two a week, I'm sure it's hard to keep track of where you've put all of them.

I think that is where they are sending all the underwear Iownic leaves on ceilings during parties. It does explain the global warming issue.

I've also heard Jupiter is about to put their Equator Bear on their endangered species list.

Though I'm not sure if this has anything to do with Iowanic's underwear.

So it is not global warming but universal warming. Everything is going to be destroyed.

Just within the solar systme and probably only the inner planets for sure, but the rest will be affected when the sun goes nova in a few years. OK, maybe just a little more than a few ...

Everything will be fine as long as Iowanic starts washing his underwear frequently and regularly. Then there will no longer be a need to ship them all the way there.

Bet those NASA guys are going to be real disappointed. They just got back some of the first pictures from their latest Mars explorer, and they thought there was life on Mars because they had a picture of a pair of underware.

I wouldn't touch that one with a 10 foot pole. And I really mean that.
