Some friends of ours are selling their 1920s Tudor, which is on the Historic Register. The niece of the original lower just passed away a few weeks ago. She had related to our friends the room they set aside for one daughter when she visits was the original owner's daughter's bedroom. The daughter died some years ago in that room. The new owners had noted movement in the room at times but when one looked directly at the spot there was nothing there. The discussion of haunted houses was often the main topic when we went to dinner together, but nothing serious.

Since they are selling her mother has commissioned an artist to do a rendition of the house in stained glass as she did for their last home. They had to blow up some of the pictures the real estate agent had professionally taken when they put the house on the market for the artist to use in the process. The fourth floor is the attic and the owner's art studio and it has a couple of dormer windows on either side of the house. When the pictures were blown up one appeared to have a face looking out of the studio window. The problem with that situation was they were both out of town that day, the security system was armed, and only they had the arming codes and the keys. The interior pictures were not taken until the following week when the lock box was installed.

Don't know what happened last night, J. (I lay down for a nap. It's dreadful hot here the last couple days!) We sure were busy enough in the afternoon!
