I'd like to know if there is a way to embed videos from YouTube etc. in our posts?

Thank you!

Yes, you can use the [flash] [/flash] tags.

Here's how you would do it:

Code:
[flash width,height]URLtoVideo[/flash]

I've tried using the numbers and BBCode as you had posted your YouTube video and all I got was a white screen.

This was your video:

This was your code:

Code:
[flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/v/J8OYvHPpGDY&hl=en&fs=1[/flash]

This is what I actually did before I started this thread and you can see what I got:

Strange. My code is identical as your code except for URL. So what am I doing wrong?

My code:

Code:
[flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_kVp6do-Gc[/flash]

BTW, thanks for the quick response.

The above was posted with this code:

Code:
[flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/v/gD8yLILzU2w&hl=en&fs=1[/flash]

I got the URL and height/width from the code in the Embed tag area.

Dunno what else to tell you.

I think what you're doing is posting the URL of the webpage of the video, which doesn't work. You need the URL of the actual flash code embedded on that page.

OK. Thanks. I'll see if the videos I got have a different width/hight. If that doesn't work, I'll cheat by posting a black YouTube screen picture and link that picture to the video source.
