Wouldn't the theoretical limit to governmental oversight be to the infinite degree? And how long before we get there?

Well, it might have been a facetious observation about the theoretical limits of a current pervasive expansion of governmental oversight. It might have been me just trying to be a jerk. And then again, I've always been a multi-tasker...
