Instead of becoming overly acquainted with life it becomes more marvellous. Somebody once said 'when you become tired of London you become tired of life'. I remember combing those streets of London when I was younger looking for viridity but never found it. But with the mature power of introspection I am beginning to overcome my past depression and numbness and can look at a simple leaf and see the greeness and feel the subjective and objective relationship I have with this simple pleasure. The whole idea of being is becoming greater and more magnificent as I get older. Deaths I experience only augment the uniqueness of life. For what do we have to compare it with? Yes nothingness. Nothingness and life, how extreme can reality get?

It's raining right now. I'm going out to sense its wetness, the smell of the foliage that exudes from this miracle. This marriage of everything. Everything is connected and the trouble with mans mind is it has a nasty habit of dissecting.

The snail and Voltaire
who are you to compare?

God bless.

Be careful what you wish for, because they sometimes have strange ways of coming true.

Btw, at my age, I have to settle for a cold beer (once in a blue moon), and a long soak in the pool. Gone are the days of other, more provacative (sic), things .....

DUUUHHHH. Do not need to try something out to discover the ramifications of such a trip. You ever read a medical journal or military manual on those who discovered acid on their own or were used as guinea pigs.

I must admit that being single has its advantages. I am my own boss, can have meals as and when I feel like it, no-one to try and boss me about or give me endless BS.
I can come and go as I please without endless questioning.
It does get lonely at times and the TV programmes are rubbish.
What I do miss is not having someone to talk to and discuss things with.
I think there are a lot of lonely people in the World. Only today I was reading on-line of a woman who lay dead for years without her body being discovered. I find that is really sad.

I suppose I shall have to cut my losses and try and grow old gracefully !!

You youngsters will no doubt realise that people tend to patronise you as you get older......that REALLY annoys me, when in truth I feel in my mind the same as I did when in my 30s.

So, Mothy...being old is just a state of mind. Keep being interested in what is going on in the World and cherish your REAL friends........they are very rare.

If you really wanted to know what the body of christ was ... it might be a good substitute for those vegan wafers you eat ~~~ \:D/

I wish you could lighten up a little Donny. Why read military journals about such a subject when one could read Aldous Huxley, Ram Dass aka Richard Alpert, Stanislov Groff, - and MAYBE even a little Timothy Leary.

But I know, the tree is high and the limb is long. Keep yourself safe now dear. I know you will.
(Military journals???? That would be quite a funny joke in some circles)

Ahhh, so lovingly put dear jhawk. You enjoy the beauty of being single - and you also join the majority. Please know that your "condition" is not unique. You are one of many and you are probably making an intelligent choice in staying single.

Enjoy. Enjoy where you are. There is no other place to be. This is where we be .....

I already know what the Body of Christ is. He is the Word made into Flesh who came to carry the sins of us humans to hell and if we eat those wafers in Memory and respect to Him He will be our Savior. Eating Lamb with those wafers doesn't separate us from God no mater how hard some Vegans try to make that case.

I am not on drugs thank you very much but on a reality trip.

You seem to fail to realise that we are all on the spacetime trip together and there is a reason. Donny I'm surprised at you. I didn't realise you were stuck in the 5 sense mindset.. Just kidding. Yes I did. One up for the little moth.

I feel a song coming on..

I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay
I sleep all night and I work all day
I put on womens clothing
AND i HANG AROUND IN BARS.
