Animal rightnicks run animal shelters, which became spay/neuter factories. Forced mass sterilization of animals, which animals never asked for. PETA went even further. They use made their pet shelters like "vernichtungslagers" following examples of Hitler's labor camps. If dogs have no owner, they can live happily by scavenging and handouts. Unfortunately, this became intolerable in modern urban society. However, in many countries, thousands of dogs live feral or wild until present. They all gravitate to human communities. This is their primeval ecological niche since first domestication period of dog's history.

It does raise questions, methinx. To wit;

Some ARA's complain how hunting and agriculture is tinkering with animal populations, simply to please humans, yet...

It's okay to tinker with the reproduction capabiliites of animals, as long as it meets the ARA's criteria for good.

When ARA's put up the loss incurred by not "tinkering", perhaps those that "tinker" will start listening. In the meantime AR's remain nothing but a cacophonus peanut gallery.

Our president has a dog now. I am pleased with his choice. Perhaps, he choose a better dog, then I expected. Therefore, Obama and his family are not much influenced by animal rightnicks ideology. At least they have a good dog. Animal rightnicks have a program, which they do not want to be known to all those, who support them with money. Look here, please:
