for your imormation , he called police and told them he killed the dog , the vet has comfirmed how it died, it is no vendetta i have never spoken tothe farmer before, and when i asked the farmer a few days later why he killed the dog he said ,, "because i can" , and also threntend to kill my other two dogs ,, so anything i have said is justified,, he is a bully ,, and yes people who are violent to animals want to be violent to people , but dont have the courage ,, he is nothing more than a animal abuser, thats why the RSPCA,ANIMAL WELFARE, AND TRADING STANDARDS are investigating him!!!!

An investigation does not imply any sort of guilt or that charges will be pressed. They investigate complaints that is what they are suppose to do.

The truth..............

The farmer was on HIS property, looking after HIS animals. HE was making sure they were where they were suppose to be. HE was also making sure HIS animals were safe from predators.

What did you do for YOUR animal. YOU were irresponsible and neglectful. YOU were not looking after your animal. YOU were not making sure your animals was safe. YOU didn't even know it was gone. YOU are the one that was irresponsible with the care and life of a puppy....YOUR puppy.

It also sounds like you have had this issue before with your dogs being on his property.

So if he is a bully for actually caring for HIS animals and looking after his animals and making sure his animals are on his property, then what does that make you??

If what you have said here is true then it is you that should be charged and held accountable for your responsibility.

No I am not the coward. I don't need to blame or make up stories about other people to avoid accepting my responsibilities. I am also not the one posting slanderous statements about other people, I am not the one calling other people names, I am not the one refusing to take responsibility for my animals.

I happen to take my responsibilities for my animals extremely serious...they are not anyone else responsibility and if anything happens to them then that is on me, no one else.

I also deal with too many animals that are a result of people, like you, that do not take their responsibilities seriously.

my views are that animals should notbe killed for no reason, or in situations like this one , what satisfaction did the farmer get from doing this ,, how would the farmer feel if i went and killed one of his pets,i believe all animals that are going to die food the food chain should be well looked after for the duration of there lives

You stated he called the police after killing your dog....
Any idea what reason he gave them for killing the dog?

I'm sorry, Simon; this sounds like this one is on you. If the laws says he could do what he did; then he didn't do anything illegal(If I read that right.)

That doesn't make it any less sad and depressing, of course and I feel for you. It's the feeling of being powerless that does it, isn't it? You were raising the little feller and things go horribly bad.

So: let's look bigger picture here....

If this is the law; do you wish to have this law changed?

What steps have you taken to safe-guard your other dogs? No need for this to happen again, yes?

yes the law should be changed, and yes the farmer can kill the dog ,, but i just do not understand how anyone could kill a dog , just because they can , if the law said i could kill any dog that stayed on to my property i would not kill it ,, just do not get him ,, but thats my view he also said ,, quote "HE HAD GOT BROWNIE POINTS FROM OTHER FARMERS FOR KILLLING A DOG", HOW SICK

A few questions;

Have the farmers in the area been having problems with dogs?

And what actions are you taking now to safe-guard your other dogs?
