Wow! these statements are a reminder of how possible it is to be turned-off and out of touch with life!

Holy sh*t Fosgate. Is this how we are to deal with our rather complex problems? Okay, I'm with you in that I would like to see less people in the world. Who wouldn't? Our world-wide population of 6.5 billion and growing exponentially (and HAS grown exponentially) needs to be reckoned with ---- for sure!



So what is it dear friend? Regrettable or better for the planet? Who gets to be 'left'? Your sister, brother, daughter, father? Would you like to be left?

Could we live in present time and see that maybe, if it is indeed regrettable, it is not better for the planet? Why have regrets?

Wouldn't it be better, for instance, to educate women of poorer countries, so that they were less likely to marry at 14 and produce 15 children who can not all be adequately looked after? Then there would be less population growth .... less blight .... rather than ignoring the needs .... and then accepting these painful methods as a matter of course? .... may as well bomb them, or ignore the systems in place which deprives entire communities of clean drinking water. Allow those "other" children to suffer and die ... so that we may enjoy the forever plenty we've become so accustomed to.

6.5 billion ----- and not one individual is less important than you or I.

Wipe out a percentage of the population? even if it means your wife, son, daughter, father? how about if one of the ones wiped out was you? would you be okay with that? are you a blight? part of it ....?

One more time:

Should we look for a solution, or should we let those poor suckers die? And if you were one of those poor suckers, would the planet .. (and whoever is left) be better off?

... is it really always regrettable in your heart/mind? Or just better for the planet? How are they separate?

I wouldn't speak for Ante, but it seems quite apparant that Fosgate and his ilk? (who are they?) are "into the decimation of mankind" ...... as a good way od dealing with this over population thing, this plague on the planet, these people ... especially the ones who keep having more babies ....



it's ALL about the planet ... if you are willing to forget that we are vialble life-forms upon it --- and that it has taken billions of years to evolve us. Some of us, apparantly, aren't worth consideration.

It is a mind like this, and this type of mind/thinking is not uncommmon, that may not be capable of considering other species .... when it can't even consider its own.

Yeah? Well, you keep pushing on that rope and let me know how well it goes.

Hey ... don't feel bad .... you are just one of the millions of people who really don't give a sh*t anymore ......when there are so many problems facing humankind, sometimes its just better to become numb and simply wish that at least 1/2 the problems wither away as 1/2 the population withers away.... as long as you and your loved ones still get to play? (just let those "other" people die from bombs dropped on their over-populated heads, polluted drinking water, starvation, whatever virus is going around ..... you know ... AIDS ....isn't that mostly in Africa?)

Personally, I didn't know you could die from the flu. I've never known anyone to... so I guess its only deadly if what? Not treated? Well I'm one of the weird schmucks who would try to cure myself if I had a cold. Then again I know people who avoid medicine.. wth.

The number of people in hospital suffering from flu this summer was almost 20 times higher than in previous years, the latest figures show.

The impact of swine flu this summer caused the number of bed days spent in hospital — particularly among working-age men and women — to soar.

An estimated 100,000 new cases of swine flu were occurring weekly at the peak of the pandemic in July.

After a decline in rates of reported illness, cases have begun to increase. Last week, an estimated 84,000 new cases of the virus were reported, as experts predicted another spike in cases as the weather gets colder.

Let me spell this out for you. I said the process is regrettable. In fact, I should retract that--sometimes it is regrettable. Either way, the product of that process is better for the planet.
