I have a blog on energy saving resources and am always looking for new ideas and suggestions on how we can reduce our carbon footprint and save money

Most people can start to reduce their carbon footprint now. There’s no need to wait for politicians and corporations to take action. We can each do something positive to help the environment. It’s not expensive; it’s perfectly safe; and we can even save money

Welcome to Envirolink Forums!! We got down to 1/20th the average American footprint plus the double down of having only one child----without government incentives to do so. We have no electric bills, compost a lot, drive a hybrid, built an Earthship, and have no mortgage.
But we are of a small minority, and it will take a strong educational campaign and government incentives for the majority to reduce their ecological footprint. O:)

That's great Johhny, it's people like you that are helping to save our environment and protect our future. Most people simply don't care enough to even do the small things such as turn lights off etc let alone cut down their carbon footprint to 1/20th of the average!

That's nice to know greenl19, starting within us can be a good help to our beloved mother earth. Though, let's pray that everyone should take their part in order to save our environment.
