Nature this week reports that by looking at what people ate, including pictures taken with mobile phones, that the E.coli was in all likelihhood consumed with (organic) beansprouts. Moreover, genetic analysis suggests it is a human E.coli... that is, the culprit is not antibiotics given to livestock (if it ever was). If my face looks funny it is because I am trying not to look like the veg*an brigade who pointed the finger at livestock farming; that is, smug.....
