For example, decisions must be flexible and adaptive, but should be well thought out and therefore possible to change if needed. There should not need to be many changes if the process is correctly applied, so is the change aspect just for the sake of change or due to a flaw in the process?

You believe the best decision is one that can be easily changed

If you have time you should consider the options, but if you do not have the time you need to make the best choice within the timeframe. Thus, the preference would change accordingly.
