First Friday Margarita night at Tequilas restaurant was fun, it was fight for a table night too,.. ton o people there in the out door bar area. Visited with good friends. :).
($1 margaritas and $2 doubles which is just a bigger glass. They make it up in pitchers. They were really good too, kind of weak but very tasty the way I like um. ( I last longer that way.) $3 munchie plates. Great fun!)

Ohhhh, that brings back memories. A friend of ours was returning to Texas to live and we had a "going away party" at Outback for them. At the time they had a "double shot" Margarita that was really good and twice the strength, which I had as my first drink. When I went to reorder the waitress told me they had a double size drink too, so to save trips for her I changed to the double size. That was good so I had a third and final drink toward the end of the evening. When we got up to say our good-byes I was not as steady as I thought I should have been. That was the point the waitress pointed out that I had not only double sized but double strength drinks for the last two. I had the equivalent of 10 normal margaritas that night.


My wife drove home and I was always very careful about ordering double size or strength anythings after that.

I saw him in concert several years ago, a great gig, sadly gone to play with Ronnie James Dio in the electric sky show.
