Not even the birth control pill is completely effective. A question such as this would be better directed to your physician than random posters on the net.
There is not too many times that I agree with Wayne, but on his answer I do....Wayne is pretty random.
Oh I dunno Siber .... and Wayne. I think this question is better directed at women as women have been given the responsibility of control of birth as their biology dictates. Giving authority to doctors might be a mistake, especially considering that some said doctor might be inclined to misadvise due to religious beliefs and inclinations .... or even political affiliations. Seems that politics and religion is not likely to part ways anytime soon with the nut-cases up for elections in the US.
Random posters on the net would probably yield some pretty good advise .... if there were any women on this site, which there aren't, they would give all kinds of advise that a doctor would not.
If the Republicans get voted in the net is going to be afire with recommendations on how to abort an unwanted pregnancy.
The pill is usually effective for most women, but there are sometimes side-affects as there are for most pharmaceutical solutions. We also know about herbs and vitamins ..... like taking copious amounts of Vitamin C for instance ..... which will also cause diarrhea .....
Intended miscarriages have always been an aspect of the total knowledge of indigenous tribes ... and that knowledge is coming back to us ... inspite of the stronghold the pharmaceutical corps and religious moral majority have had on us ... with their very scientific knowledge and seeming absolute authority.
Screw the doctors ... if their behaviour has been instructed by religiously mandated laws ... they will NEVER prohibit a woman's knowledge which will be spread throught the net. Women will surely OCCUPY.
And I don't really understand your response to Wayne. He is very sturdy for the most part and his responses are beautifully square. Hmmmm ......"beautifullically square" .... a combination of pristine logic which is forever short-circuited if not informed by another aspect of intelligence. ie: forests are not lines of trees.
I mean, I don't particularly wish to abandon this beautiful planet ..... this planet which has spent millenium evolving from the biological standpoint .... a work of biological art! I don't wish to avoid our problems with the supposed answers of sweeping them under the rug of some scientific panacea. I would not volunteer to be relocated to some other planet when this one is so beautiful! Can we not figure out how to get along here? If we can't do this here and now .... what is the point? If we cannot solve our problems on this beauifuil planet then is a geographical solution a solution at all?
The original poster is probably not weighing in anyway, but there might be some other readers who actually get this and get that Monsanto is as "solution based" as relocating to the Moon!
Hey folks ..... Are we not experiencing a crises in consciousness, no matter WHERE we are?
