Three experiments on "deep green": I was trying to do all my computing with my cel phone so that meant it was difficult to post on the forum (but was possible and did so a few times). My furnace broke and so I was planning to rebuild the house to eventually be energy self-sufficient. The low temperature house and the drained water system (to prevent frozen pipes), I spent lots of time elsewhere which did not play well to internet browsing. I spent all my money on an efficient vehicle and building materials (insulation, vapor barrier, house-wrap) and a very low-power laptop so had no money left for high speed connections. I changed my diet to not need cooking or refrigeration (to reduce my energy needs) so I had little intensive to actually prepare meals at home which again kept me away from the internet.
