Welcome. I may not be a true vegan but functionally vegan by default. By trying to eliminate the purchase of food and energy eventually, I have eliminated the use of refrigeration and stoves and any foods I cannot grow or raise myself. This effectively removed milk and meat from my diet but eggs that are boiled with close-to-boiling water (water that temperature can be created with solar easily) are still acceptable because I could raise some bird species such as pigeons in an urban setting. I am concentrating my efforts on animal actors which is not a vegan activity but I am concentrating on ground-dwelling species who are mostly pure vegan diet species and if I am growing food for them, it will all be greenhouse food or grass.
