Hi, I need a little help. I currently have a FB Page of which I use to spread awareness on animal cruelty issues, animal rights and related matters. I tend to focus on factory farm/slaughter cruelty, but I cover all topics. I live in the worst (or worst top 3) states in the United States for animal rights. There are not many animal rights orgs in the entire state, let alone in my general area. I spend most of my time on FB trying to post articles, reports, abusers, links, videos and images - in an effort to expose animal abuse. I'm beginning to feel like I'm preaching to the choir as my (596) page fans are mostly people or other pages with the same or similiar views. I welcome any ideas on spreading awareness, effective activism/action, sites suggestions, or recommendations on a good group(s) to join. My area(s) of interest are factory farms/dairy farms/slaughter/fur farms. I support the animal liberation and anti-speciesism theory/approach, and veganism. Thank you, M4animallib

The whole biosphere needs help!
We HAVE to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 90% within a DECADE to stand a chance of saving our own species and so many others, too. This isn't some deal where we have a lot of time like required to lower population peacefully. We can't have our heads in the sand in ignorance of the population crash coming or the thermal maximum that very well could happen without quick substantial action and life changing ways of doing just about everything. Even then, it will take 4-500 years to get back to a little like it was. There's no instant change. Many depleted resources will take thousands of years to replenish, if they even can. Much pollution will take thousands , in some cases over 100 thousand years to be absorbed to safety by the biosphere.
