Lately it has been a current issue if the next generation of children will take better care of the planet than we do, but can children be better prepared if they are taught about it even younger? Kids love bed time story books and they really seem to pay attention to them. Can an issue that concerns an older generation be taught to children in a simpler and more child-suited way such as a book or a story? Can this work?

Please use the link below to go to the survey this questions generate from or feel free to reply to these questions in this forum and tell if it is a good idea or is it not and will it work or will it not.
Thank you in advance.

What do you mean, we are not taking care of our planet? Maybe many of us could do more, but why put it on the children? In my experience, young children are very receptive to "green" ideas, enthousiastically planting trees, help in school gardens, etc. However, I doubt whether any boy (and probably quite a few of the girls) when asked what kind of car thye would like to drive when they grow up, would say they'd have a Toyota Prius, or better still, a bicycle. Or that any of them would settle for just a basic mobile phone intead of the latest.... Never mind the bed time stories, read the ones that amuse them, fairy tales, not lectures; then give them a good example to follow by your own behaviour as parents; how many phones or computers do you have? What is the brand of your sneakers?

Brand of sneakers??? The main thing is do you have a sister or brother? If yes, your parents are ruining your world. Are you on all solar power, composters? 3 Rs in everything at home? High mileage or hybrid or electric vehicle? V-8 hog and they are the problem.
The future does not depend on them, it depends on the people all over and in all walks of life, to reduce emissions of all HGHGs 90% in 9 years or condemn the survivors of the 2050s crash to thermageddon and extinction 2500. Misery throughout their lives.
It will really get bad in the 2030s onward. If you are alive then, you will experience misery also. Each year will probably be worse than the year before. 400 million per year will die for years. Too many to even bury. Desperate cannibal gangs preying on the weak first, and in the end, themselves. :-$ 8-[ :-$ :x :-({|= =;
