Well trying for emissions free means using Gen 4 produced electricity for melting metals. It is too much of a load for solar, except concentrators. Windmills are huge eyesores. The biggest problem has been gross overpopulation that has led to either a man made Toba event to stop going into Arctic methane runaway or to an ELE. One is a 99% reduction in population by starvation, and the other is a 100% reduction in population by starvation, wet bulb events, massive fires, desperate people going insane and wild, and taking most other life with them.

Virtually all of the environmental problems today can be attributed to this: Too many people having too many babies.
