The old forum had an area set aside for the youngsters to have their own discussions and a non-discussion area for the posting of vegetarian food stuff .... why not bring those areas back in this version of the forum. If there is a perception of undue use of the discussion aspect why not have a non-discussion area? The introduction area is already set aside as a non-debate area ... so what would be the problem with another?

It's definitely something to think about. I didn't re-create them because I didn't perceive they were getting a lot of use. What do others think?

And if you're going to do that, would you consider one that is only for those of us in the animal concerns forum who are concerned about animals? Maybe there could be questions when you sign up, like age (for the children's forum) and some weed out questions for the animal sympathizers' forum. I volunteer to submit filter questions.

Hopefully that would be an area that only children of whatever position visited. That is the general definition of a "children's area". If adults visit it it would not be a "children's area". As for the "misguide"? comment I believe that influence would be easier to prove for the pro-AR side if you really wanted to be truthful.

But, we have never attempted to misguide anyone here. As far as I know we have only provided facts on our issues. My intentions have never been meant to misguide.



It would only be easier for you, since that is the area in which you are equipped to give advice/comments. While I or Satan would have no trouble in giving pro-hunting information that backs our stance...



Now this one I take offense to... I am as concerned about animals as you are. Do I believe they should have the same rights as humans? No way... But that doesn't mean I am any less concerned about them or their welfare... I have never treated an animal cruelly in my life, nor have any of the animals I've shot ever suffered. I have not had one animal take so much as a step after being shot.

I'm working on that one, actually. I would need to find a chat room that does not use the Telnet protocol in any way, as that violates our security protocols on this server. If anyone has any expertise with this or has a suggestion of a good (and free) java-based chat system, let me know.

Nope... I have yet to find a live chat application that will work on our server. Any suggestions?
