It's raining :( And today was the most depressing day of my life... I like the rain but I hardly noticed it as I stood out in it crying  *sighs*

Breakfast: nothing
Lunch: Peanut butter sanwhich, fruit, water...
Supper: I am not sure yet...

Damn..send some of that rain here...please..NOW!!! About 14-30 inches would be nice....No food for me today...Broke a tooth last week when I fell down a hill,so it got abscessed, and had it removed today...may brave a bowl of soup later.

You mean to tell me Arkansas didn't get any of that rain that took a week and a half to blow completely through MS recently? We got swamped!

Don't feel so bad, TruVenom, we've only had about one inch of precipitation since November (western KS).
Talk about Red Flag conditions...

We were under the same conditions for a while. We hadn't had rain since September until recently. We're doing much better, but we are still way behind.

They have quite a bit of rain in the forecast for the next few days..I surely hope we get it.

So do I. The lakes are quite low, and if we don't get some decent rains this Spring the whitetail antler quality will suffer.

Our lakes are at record lows, and if we don't get some water in them soon, there is going to be a big trout kill-off this summer when they can't generate electricity.

But there is no connection to the changing weather patterns and the emissions of greenhouse gases ....

Hmm...The temps shot up about 15 degrees overnight. Just got a call from the NWS,advising me that we will most likely be activated late tonight and possibly tomorrow. The winds right now are gusting to about 30 MPH. Hopefully we'll get the heavy rain that they are forecasting. My main concern in is the possibility of CTG lightning igniting the dry vegetation before we get the rain. Gonna be an interesting next 48 hours here in the Natural State....c'mon rain!!!!
