Just last weekend I was running around in shorts, checking all of my herpetology equipment, getting ready to head into the wild to find some specimens coming out of hibernation. The grass is getting green, flowers are blooming, trees budding. Now that the official beginning of spring has arrived, they are calling for chances of snow for the next 3 days :?

It's supposedly Spring here.. uit hasn't gotten above 24 degrees and it flipping snowed last night. I hate snow...and to think most of my life I used to love going to the mountains to visit the snow!

We got about 8 inches, Ori- how much did you get?
I'm not complaining though, we REALLY needed the moisture.

Just a couple inches.. nothing like back in October when we got slammed with 14 inches of snow. Bleh.

Yeah.. CO needs the moisture too. I prefer rain over snow! :)

It would be a slamming for me. I don't think I've seen more than a total of two inches down here...and that's a total for the whole year.

Spring lasts a week or two here---in July!!! 8,875' 39* lat. Fall and winter start in Sept. Everything is variable by a month and getting more variable.

Yup slammed. Considering I'm from Sunny San Diego where it doesn't snow and rarely rains, 14 inches of snow is a ton of snow. Ya'll Canadians can keep your real snow!
