I'm happy that I got my turkey, and was able to help my daughter's boyfriend get his. Nothing for 3 weeks and then 2 within a couple hours of each other. And no the turkey in my avatar is not one of them. I just took this one's picture. Of course it is possible he may be taking up space in the freezer with the other two by next weekend.

Hey.. no dissing Chicago! Well.. ok, you can diss the cubs, as long as you leave the Bears and the White Sox alone. :D

Cute.. almost Military/Law Enforcement like in a way, they can turn any word into a saying.

We used to joke that military guys are the only ones who could get away with having the name NANCY in their wallet with a phone number.

Given my prior service in both the Military and Law Enforcement it does seem a possibility, but that acronym has been around forever, circulating amongst baseball fans.

Ugh. I hated having to type up reports for my Sgt., he wrote everything in acronym form but I had to type it all in actual words.. half the time he didn't even know what the heck things stood for! :D Law Enforcement and Military people act like their acronyms are top secret or soemthing.. heaven forbid a secretary call and need to know what the heck they stand for.

Ok.. to take this thread back on topic. I'm totally jazzed because my cd's finally got here and I'm ripping them to my work computer right now. One of the bands (Fuel) redid an Elton John song.. Daniel! Funny, I can actually understand all the words to it now and when Elton John sings it I can't. :D Elton John will still always be my favorite though.. one of these days he's going to go straight and realize that he loves me.

No, they feed me in my cage.

Sonic has good ice. We have ice machines here on several floors of all our buildings that make the same kind of ice....so they tell me.

Cage feedings are good..not quite as messy. :D

All Sonic's have the same kind of ice?! Whoa.. I love Sonic ice.. it's easier to chew.

Ok.. currently I'm happy because I've got Tommy Lee and Cinderella on my playlist now. 8)

Today I'm happy because coffee was made before I left for work, I got an e-mail that they're going to use an "article" I wrote in the company newsletter (they call it an article.. I call it babbling), I actually got my Mother's Day shopping done before the weekend of, the Red Hot Chili Peppers album comes out today.. AND if I buy it at Circuit City they'll toss in a cd with 4 of Hoobastank's new songs on it, I have gum (cinnamon AND bubble gum flavor), I got a parking spot right up close to the building this morning, I got an e-mail from a friend I've been missing dearly since she moved last week, the boss offered to give me the 23rd - 26th off without me asking, and Elk and Moose were extra cuddly this morning.
