Hi there everyone I am from Ontario Canada and was recommend this forum for intelligent discussions and debates on AW and AR.

I honestly don't know where I stand on this issue. I am somewhat into AW but in the same token I can appreciate that some people earn their living off of animals.

I am hoping to be able to have friendly non-hostile conversations regarding the issues and to perhaps learn a little more about why everyone feels the way they do.

I am not really political as I personally see all politicians as weasels. I normally vote Conservative, however in the last election I voted NDP. Yeah I know a throw away vote some would say, but I live in a military town, am dating a military man, and my children have a military father and stepmother, so for me both the Liberals and the Conservatives did not seem like a wise choice. The Liberals sent us into Afghanistan, and if the Conservatives have their way, they will send all my friends to Iraq.

On the home front, I am a single mother of two small children. We have cats and rats and as of yesterday I am now the proud mother of two hideously ugly baby pigeons.

I work in construction for a living, and although at times the crew I work with tests my patience and my backbone, there is no other place I would rather work.

Anyways that's a bit about me. Hoping to meet you all, and hoping to learn a little bit more about the animals that we all love to talk about.
