OH LOL Deni you just reminded me we used to do the same thing! Only we jumped off my grandmother's front porch (high) into the picky hedges below. What the hell were we thinking? We'd get all scratched up but just keep jumping. Ah to be a kid again. We used to play king of the hill on the huge snow piles too. Then there was sleigh riding down Slaba's hill in our neighborhood. I remember when dusk fell, how the snow seemed to glow blue and it got so much colder. My sister & I would finally go home with numb toes and fingers. Peeling the snow crusted mittens off & throwing them over the radiator to steam. Hot cocoa all around. sigh.
