both,I do alot of snakebite classes for the medical field,I dabble some in the breeding and genetics, but not a whole lot. Alot of the animals I have are rescue and were injured,so I rehabbed them and use them for my classes, other went to various state and privates education displays.
what's the most poisonous snake ever handled?
Ever?!?! Either a Black Mamba, Black headed Bushmaster,Monocoled Cobra or Gaboon Viper...but htose days are long behind me now.Much to my wife's pleasure.
kudos to you for rehabbing rescue and injured snakes...do you go to
schools and educate the public/children...it's sad how these wonderful
creatures are so maligned, they're so critical to the ecology.
man...those are some bad-ass snakes...watched a program recently
about sea snakes and how venomous those things are and there is
yet no anti-venom....if you're looking for a new challenge that might
be up your alley...
(your wife will shoot me for this).
found my pics...as soon as I can get them scanned will post.
I have one of my garter snake(Vippy) chillin' out in the potted plants
and the pair of corn snakes together.
ps: what's the worse bite you ever got and how were you affected?
