I note that my preferences are set to EST, but the time (upper right on board) shows an hour earlier. :?:

That would be EST, but this does not automatically correct for Daylight Savings time ... (Spring forward ... fall back)

Odd, in the settings the system "knows" about Daylight Savings Time... maybe this is a bug?

The upgrade was not until after the tme change wasn't it? I remember having to make the change, but if it was the old system the new one may not have made any change for EST because there was no trigger to do so, such as the activation time/date. Just a thought.
