Curious what ya'll think about love at first sight.. it's been an ongoing debate in one of my BBW groups.

My thoughts on it are fairly simple. How can you love someone you don't know? Lust at first sight I believe... but love at first sight? Pffft.

I believe in love at first sight. Take Anna Nichole Smith, for example, I am sure she fell in love at first sight of all of those zeros on J. Howard Marshall's bank statement.

I'm more a proponent of lust at first sight.

I am not sure if it's real but I would like to think it is.

Here's my beef with love at first sight... it's romantic and all, but how well do you know a person "at first sight"? How can you love someone you know nothing about? I don't get that. 'Course.. my mom says she fell in love with my dad at first sight. She had to chase him for four years for him to realize that he loved her. :)

I can personally attest to the fact that lust at first sight is real

Infatuation at first sight is more like it.

Ori, you can love someone that you don't know....however, I don't believe you can be in love with someone you don't know.

I had read that scientifically (brain waves?) it's possible to fall in love within 30 seconds.
When I first saw my husband in a crowded club, my heart skipped a beat. I was smitten,
but not in love. 30 seconds later I was.
