Mihra is the first industrially based human rights association in what some people call the free world. It is currently proposing a sports boycott of indonesia and Burma for the Sydney 2000 Olympic games. It also affirms its position that it is the only organization within the music industry that collates economic and social information and publishes the truth regarding the plight of those at the creative end of a cottage industry in the grip of a six member cartel ofrecording, publishing and distribution conglomerates. Mihra lobbys parliaments towards bring back decision making into the hands of the arts creative musicians so that the western world can regain a heritage of exciting and educated music lost by those without knowledge of the art form nor care for the lack of direct funding / earnings filtering though to the base of the creative process. It seeks volunteers from all over the world to help acheive its objectives.
