The National Tropical Botanical Garden is engaged in the struggle to save the tropical plant world, which is under threat from all sides. Located in the only tropical and sub-tropical regions in the United States, the gardens and preserves of the NTBG serve as "Noah`s Arks" for this endangered plant life. This work is carried out through active programs in collection, propagation, conservation, research and education.
