Detailed Information:
The Environmental Change and Security Project facilitates dialogue among policy practitioners and scholars around current issues of environment, population, and security, and it serves as an information clearinghouse on these issues through its meetings, an extensive Internet site, and original staff research. In its role as an information clearinghouse, ECSP annually publishes the Environmental Change and Security Project Report and the China Environment Series. The two journals feature articles, meeting summaries, updates on current activities and research in the field, and bibliographic guides. The ECSP Report and the CES are designed as reference tools for policymakers, research resources for scholars, and teaching tools for professors. Meetings have included a diverse range of topics such as health and disease, food security, population growth, alternate fuel strategies, water scarcity, and cooperation on environmental issues between China and the United States.
