The EFCV are a group actively involved in the conservation and management of Epping Forest.

Detailed Information:
Many habitats withinthe forest are threatened. In order to maintain the diversity of these habitats we have, since 1977, undertaken practicaltasks on important sites. Particularly threatened are theponds and bogs of the forest, the open grasslands and heaths. We occasionally work outside theforest, assisting other conservation groups such as the Essex Wildlife Trust.
