IICD is a non-profit educational organization founded in 1986 and dedicated to promoting global understanding and international solidarity. IICD trains volunteers for work in community development projects in Africa, the Americas and Asia. The programs offer participants an opportunity to work with people who are in need of assistance and to also use the experience to educate others about the state of the world and the people in it.
