WSI is a membership organization seeking to educate our members and the community in the multiple aspects of ecological stewardship. Some of our current projects include: an environmental action alert e-mail service; an educational tree planting and interpretive forest project, working with students from local schools; and an international conference in Mexico City (October, 2000) that will focus on the "Love and Care of Creation" in an attempt to facilitate environmental change in Mexico, putting ethical beliefs behind environmentalism.
