A campaign against the construction of the environmentally damaging and ultimately pointless bypass around Newbury in Berkshire, England.

Detailed Information:
Clearance work on the bypass started in January and since then many committed protestors have been arrested whilst trying to halt or slow the destruction. This will be a long campaign - the work is expected to take at least two and a half years.
