Maps of earthquakes for the last three days are updated every half hour. As always with preliminary data, remember this is preliminary. While we do automatically screen for location quality some bad ones will get through and the larger events are likely to have multiple locations on the map (hopefully close together). All plots are from the USGS Northern California Seismic Network, except for the Los Angeles and Southern California plots which are from the USGS-Caltech Southern California Seismic Network, and the Hawaii plots which are from the USGS Hawaii Network. The Hawaii plots are updated twice daily and weekly
